I lovely love this

Whilst blog hopping one night, I stumbled onto this! Isn't it so cute. If you are a Gabba fan, then you know that this lovely quote is from the song the Roots performed(and Mossi wrote) on the family episode. I immediately contacted the artist, the talented Merrilee, asking if she would be willing to sale one to me. Scott and I LOVE finding homemade Gabba things. This was one of the cutest things that I have found so far. Long story short, she found my blog and read up on Davy's story. She is having a fundraiser this week for my little Davy Jean! If you purchase one of these lovely prints, part of that money will go to help my lovely family with past, present and future medical bills. I can't tell you how choked up this has gotten me. I had to walk away from my computer and and shed a few.
I have learned so much being Davy's mom. Love has a new meaning for me. I have never felt so many other people's love for me and my family. So, Thank you Mer, this was so very lovely of you.
If you want to read her WAY to kind blog post, look here. And if you would like to purchase one of these bad boys for your home, look on her fantastic etsy shop here.
Thank you.......Goodnight!

I've made my daughter and her little friend a few Gabba dresses. Let me know if Davy needs one...or two... ;) (Here's the little friend on the way to the Gabba concert. http://www.facebook.com/elkdresses#!/photo.php?fbid=1436469723500&set=o.134811036547650&theater )

I just ordered a print!!! I just have to say, I am so touched by your little Davy's story. My 2 year old son Quinn LOVES Yo Gabba Gabba and was also born with a cleft (lip, unilateral incomplete, repaired). I can definitely relate to how difficult (and scary) it can be, even for a more established family, to work through the expenses involved with helping our little ones.

In a way, knowing that our families share this common bond makes me love and appreciate the show in a a whole new way.

Davy is beautiful! (and she happens to have the best middle name ever)... ;-)

hugs!

Hi Ruth :) I was just reading your blog and Davy's story and it made me cry! My son, Kellen, was just born last month and also has a congenital heart defect, HLHS. I can relate to some extent to what you are going through. Kellen just got discharged last week and came home with a g-tube. It's always nice finding other heart moms. I love that this women is doing a fundraiser for you, how admirable. Our family is having a Beef & Beer for Kellen for the same reason. I wish you the best of luck in your heart journey! If you ever need a new shoulder to lean on, I would more than happy to listen :) ~Stacie, (thejackleys@hotmail.com)

I love this! We have big plans for redoing my son Asher's room for his 2nd Birthday - YGG theme of course since he is completely obsessed! He actually refuses to watch any other show... and I'm not exaggerating! I've kept up with your blog and beautiful Davy's progress and can't wait to purchase and add this touching art to the collection of things for Asher's room and baby on the way's room! :) We wish you continued luck with everything. - The Averys

I've been reading your blog for several years and never commented before. I'm Brian Adams's wife and have loved getting to know your family and particularly Davy through your blog. Brian said you and Scott were special people, and your blog certainly shows that.

I'm really so impressed Ruth by your ability to touch people. What an impact you're having on perfect strangers!

I just wanted to say I look forward to reading your blog and am so happy for the success it is having, particularly because it helps sweet, sweet Davy.

All our best from the Adams Family!

I just stumbled onto this blog. I'm a heart mama too, my son has HLHS. I adore the print. I am ordering one in honor of our little heart buddy Travis who was a huge Gabba fan, went to the show, had Gabba 1st birthday, wore the shoes, everything! Travis passed away 2 weeks ago, at 16 months old, his parents and all of us who met him are devastated. He was a sweet little bit of sunshine, always smiling. We will be celebrating his short but amazing life on Sunday. You can read about him here:

Davy and your family will be in my prayers!

<3 hugs,
