To alcohol?....No. Cigarettes?.....No. My addiction is way more subtle but an addiction none the less. My drug of choice is Coke 0. She is ruining my life! It started out innocent enough. Maybe one at the movies or whenever I'm at the Schultz house. My in laws are practically my dealers they always have plenty to go around and everyone in that house is doing it. At a very young age I vividly remember my Dad coming home from work and he would always pop open a cold one(diet coke back then). We were never allowed to touch his precious diet coke. I never thought I would ever bring IT into the house where the kids could see me. But it has made it's way into my fridge. You know it's bad when you guzzle it down and you use it to take your vitamins. Pathetic. I swear I was a water drinker who occasionally took a sip off of others coke. Now look at me.I actually have an empty can in front of me right now. Please help. I need a program. This is a disease.

Wow, I confessed my addiction via blogfessional yesterday... Ruth, the first step toward recovery is confessing, so your already ahead of the rest of the pack of Zero's...addicts, it could be worse, imagine a mom of three kids addicted to energy drinks, or even worse drugs!
Maybe a support group? I'll join. No coke for you, no "Maria candy" for me... (Maria is the evil women who keeps an often unattended bowl of candy way too close to my office.) if we can't do it for our bodies, lets at least do it for our teeth.
when you find something let me know. Aaron needs help too. I blame myself for part of it. I actually went out a bought it for him...
I never thought it could get so out of hand.
It's not an addiction until you start bringing cans with you when you eat dinner at other peoples house for fear they may not have any.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????? WELCOME, MY FRIEND, WELCOME TO MY WORLD. Haa-haa. Really Ruth, I can TOTALLY understand. I am an addict, too. Its almost embarrassing. I even talked to the doctor about it. I now have decided that I don't keep it in the house anymore. Only when I go out. Its amazing how many things I need to "go out for" now. Help me!!!!!
you kidding? I just drank a can of Diet Coke to get rid of a headache. :) Can it get any better than that? hehe. and that's the first one in awhile. But ya, I do feel SO much better now that I'm only drinking water. I can relate though. My husband used to tease me about being addicted to Coke and now he's the one addicted. :) It's a sickness.
ew me too...vanilla coke zero! I've made myself stop stocking it in the house. It's bad news!
I'm proud to say I am a recovered addict. I have been sober for one year now. I quit cold turkey.Back in my addiction days, I refused to have it my home because I knew I would drink it for breakfast. But I found myself going for fast food everyday to feed my habit. It was ugly!
