One of the many reasons why I love Ollie is, he loves to snuggle with me on the couch and watch Top Chef. The other day after watching it Ollie jumps up and says.........
Ollie- Mom can we play Top Chef? But you have to eat whatever I make.
Me- Ollie I'll let you make something but you have to eat your own creation. I then explain how Mommy is pregnant and has a weak tummy.
Ollie busy himself in the kitchen for the next 20 minutes and then calls me in.
Ollie- he proudly displays his food and says and that's how a man makes it!

My little Harper is 2!!! I am sad at how fast these 2 years have gone by. Here are his 2 year old stats....................
1. He LOVES Yo Gabba. He watches it every day. He likes to hold up his dolls and yell out there names, BROBEE, PLEX! He also likes to say It's awesome!
2. Even though he is constantly terrorizing Ollie, he cries when Ollie goes to school.
3. His nick name is stinky or stinks. This is because the boy poops 10 times a day and when he does he chases Ollie and tries to sit on him. So the boys made up the game "stinky baby" where Harper chases them and they run and hide. Harper loves it.
4. He has a favorite blanket that he calls "booey". He needs it to sleep and wants it when he first wakes up.
5. He loves to brush his teeth. He would carry around his toothbrush all day if he could.
(Uncle Matt would be proud)
6. His best Friend is our dog Charlie. Every morning Charlie waits for him to get out of bed and then does back flips and Harper says, "Ohhh it's Chollie"
7. Harper weighs 30 pounds(60th percentile) and is 34 .5 inches(50th percentile)
8. But the thing that Harper loves most is his skateboard or "board-board". He is obsessed with it. He actually is getting pretty good too. Scott is very proud. He has already took him to the half pipe at his work. Harper usually is carrying his board through out the day.
9. Harper is a dare devil. He will climb up anything and jump off anything. He has already chipped his tooth, busted his lip open, 2 bloody noses and a black eye.
He is one of my hardest toddlers, very busy, but very rewarding. He loves to give me hugs and kisses. I hope that he always will. Happy Birthday Stinky.

Last week I had the amazing experience of witnessing the birth of my newest niece. A while back I was telling Amber how I would love to shoot a birth one day. How it would be cool to be a fly on the wall and capture the moment. Little did i know she was pregnant and she told me that I can come to hers. 9 months later I get a text at 12am saying she was going to the hospital. I instantly regretted the Unisom I just took. Luckily I was so excited it didn't even effect me. I went to the hospital at 3am and Amber had just gotten her EPI. So she was starting to feel comfortable, so we chatted it up. Then Nancy(Mom) showed up and got the party started with funny stories and what not. By 5 am Amber started getting really uncomfortable. This baby was at the gates and ready to come out. All that was needed was a Doctor, who was about 20 minutes away. This is where I started getting emotional. Watching Matt comfort Amber, and Amber trying to focus on anything but the pain she was in. I don't know if it was emotional cuz I have been there before or I am about to be there. 5:30am the Dr strolls in, takes off his flip flops and delivers Lily in 3 pushes, turns and walks out the door like it ain't no thing. Aside from my children's birth, this was he most spiritual thing I've every witnessed. I was proud of myself that I could continue taking pictures. I was crying more then the baby was. It sounds so cliche to say what a miracle child birth is, but that is the only way to describe it. A miracle that Amber and Matt created this beautiful little girl and she came into this world perfectly. I am so thankful to have experienced this. So thank you Amber and Matt for letting me capture this moment for you, I'll never forget it. If you want to see more pictures check here and here.
I call this shot "a plea with God". All you moms know what I'm talking about.

Scott took the boys to a trout farm for their first fishing experience. I think he was more excited then they were. The cool thing about going to the trout farm is you pretty much gonna catch something, and they both did. I love these pictures cuz it shows how different Max and Ollie are.
Note that Ollie has a napkin around his fish. He was grossed out by the germs and properly sanitized after handling said fish.
Max was more hands on with his fish. Germs.......no problem. But notice this sad look on Max's face. That's because he was so sad that the fish was in pain. He saw the hook in his mouth and the fish still flopping around and he just needed Dad to put it out of it's misery. Which ended up making matters worse cuz brilliant Scott thought if he whacked the fish on a rock it would die quick. Well it did but it also splattered blood everywhere. Max teared up even more and Ollie said AWESOME!!!!They thought it was hilarious to make the fish kiss.

I know, I know, where have I been? Let's just say me and pregnancy do not mix well. Thank heavens for friends and family, cuz I don't think my little family would have survived the past couple of months. So big thanks to the long list of people who showed us some love(you know who you are)
Obviously I have major catch up to do. SO here it goes......This is the annual father and sons camping trip with our church. How I love this weekend. The only bummer was Scott didn't take Harpey with him. Oh well, next year. These were taken by the husband and photo shopped by me.
I hope to be more consistent with the old blog. But I'm promising nothing.(sorry Dad)

Over fourth of July we went to Arizona with the extended Witten family. I have to say it was a lot of fun(minus the LONG drive). It was on this trip that I realized something was wrong with me. Either I had Lupus or I was pregnant. I could tell i was off.
One of the days we went to the Grand Canyon. It was so amazing. I felt like I was looking at a picture, it was really beautiful. I was just thankful that Beth took Harper with her to Sedona cuz it would have been a nightmare with him. He would have surely plummeted to his death.

So I have mentioned that I'm knocked up? Well I am. So please forgive me for anything I do or say for the next 9 months. Anyways, Ollie is really interested in the whole pregnancy thing. He is always asking a ton of questions.....
Ollie- Mom, I know how you get pregnant.
Me- ( crap, here it comes)Oh really? How? (I am know holding my breath waiting for his answer)
Ollie- You have to get really fat.
Me-(exhale) Yes that is exactly how you get pregnant. So basically 70% of the world is prego in Ollie's eyes.

A month ago Ollie graduated from Tiny Tots. He was really excited to be done with "baby" school and be a kindergartner now. The school put on a little program where they sang songs, it was really cute. Ollie took things very seriously. He never smiled, he was all business.
He was trying to get my attention to tell me to take pictures of him.
They had all the kids say their names. Ollie of course said his full name,
OLIVER BEN SCHULTZ
This is Ollie's cousin June, she refused to look at her Mom and Dad. Isn't she cute.
Ollie getting his diploma. They asked the kids what they wanted to be when they grew up. Ollie said a fireman(news to me). He later told me that he lied to everyone and that he really wants to be a Dog Whisperer.
Miss Irene and Miss Robbins
It was so much fun to have Grammy and Papa there. Note the bouquet of roses Ollie has. He HAD to get them to hand out to all his ladies, Grammy got two!
It's so weird to think that my little guy is going to leave me next year to go to big boy school. I'm kinda sad.

Sometimes I surprise myself. Last night I went to the movies with some lady friends. I went in early to save the seats, it was really crowded. I needed 4 seats and a place for a baby.(or so i thought)I found 2 above the 1 empty handicap seat (perfect for baby plus 1) I then noticed that the 2 people next to me had a empty seat next to them, so I thought i would just sit there. I wasn't even going to ask them to move over or anything. So I asked the lady"Is that seat taken?" She said" Oh I have my purse on that seat" Now I have no idea where this came from," Oh, did your purse pay $10 for that seat?"(wow did that just come from my mouth) She looked at me and said really Bit&*% like, "you don't have to be rude about it." But she was still not gonna move her purse. So I said " really cuz I think your purse is being rude about it."(ooooooohhhhh)
Even though I was proud of my sassy comments she still didn't move her purse in the REALLY crowded theater. But I had met my sassy quota for the day, so my ladies and I had to find separate seats. The whole time I kept thinking, i would have loved to have gotten a manager to make her move her precious purse. Or dang, I wish Amber or Beth were here, they would really tell her off. But when it comes down to it I'm just too lazy to take it to the next level. What would you have done?
I'm kinda pathetic, huh?

Heather might be right. I am starting to like the bangs more. I have been wearing them straight across more. Which do you think is better? To the side(see previous post) or straight across? Oh yeah I went shopping with My BFF last night, marched into Urban and not one stinkeye from an employee. I don't think it was the bangs so much as I actually got ready this time.

I have been feeling old lately. Is it the 3 kids, Harrison graduating, turning 34(in August), this list could go on and on. I went shopping at Urban Outfitters and right when I walked in I feel the workers eye on my saying "lady, Chico's is 2 stores down." I guess I should have gotten ready for the day. So I went to try some things on and when I looked in the mirror I felt Old and uncool. I needed a change. My facebook needs an update. So I went home, got my shears and chop chopped some bangs. And guess what? I still felt old and uncool. Whatever. I have only had them for 3 days. My SIL, Heather says she always hates her bangs for the first week. Hmm, I dunno.

I have been apart of Harrison's life since he was like 2. I feel I have a strong bond with him, we are both the youngest of 8, we love the same music, movies, TV and style. He is the little brother that I never had, but always wanted. Last week he graduated High school!! Which is happy/sad.
1. It means I'm old (sad)
2. He gets to leave home and go to college(happy)
3. He is leaving (sad)
4. He is growing up(happy)
5. no more graduation ceremonies for a long time(happy)
Anyways I'm way proud of you, Harrison. Now go make momma proud!
