Davy's medical History
I am "the mom" to 3 boys and a little girl. Through taking a microarray test, we found out that my Davy girl has a rare chromosome deletion. I have written this out in hopes to find others who have any similiar conditions.
Davy has a microdeletion of 1p31.1-1p31.3. She has panhypopituitarism, a cleft lip and palate, Congenital heart defects(asd, vsd, pda and had a CoArc). She had a surgery for malrotation of the intestines, and a g-tube put in to feed her. She has GERD with esophagitis dysphagia. She is on multiple medictions that need to be given round the clock. Three of those she will need for the rest of her life. To read about her journey start here.

I LOVE all of the pictures! And for some reason, I don't think that I ever saw month #9. I have no idea why. Thank you again, Ruth, for sharing your life with your sweet Davy girl... it has been an adventure for us too.

AMazing. This is so inspirational. I was too afraid to start the month pictures because I was afraid I would quit in the middle or not do it for all the kids, but look at you! On your fourth and only picking up steam. I love this.

Thanks tons, Ruth, now I'm going to be singing that song all night! One night we sat all of our kids down (even the teenagers) and made them watch YouTube videos of old Sesame Street vids (think Martians/yipyipyipyipyipyipyip uh huh-uh huh and Lady Bug picnic and One of These Things Is Not Like The Other etc.) and when this came on, the 1-2-3-fouuuur-5-6-seveneightniiiine-10, eleven twelve song, Mike and I sang it so loud and perfectly our kids thought we'd rehearsed. True story, that. Over.
I just noticed, 8 of the 12 pictures she has her favorite pose...the W (with her arms) Love that Davy girl. I am looking forward to hanging out with her tomorrow.
