You all know I am a lover of baths. And even though my tub is the size of a large sink, I can still manage to squeeze my 5 foot 10 inch body in it. It's really the highlight of my day, my refuge, my daily meditation and I even manage to get some reading in.
Last week as I was soaking, I looked up at my ceiling and saw this...........
SPITBALLS!!!
They were huge! I am pretty sure they were constructed from my (now empty)jar of cotton balls. Once again, my first reaction was to giggle and show my husband. My next reaction was to question Son #1 and Son #2.
All I had to do was stare into Ollie's eyes Bruce Willis style and say, OOOOOOlllllieeeeeee?
BAM! Instant confession, I totally should have been a cop.
Any one else have spitballs on their ceiling?

HA! Oh the joys of boys! No spitballs yet for us, but I'm sure they are in our future. You should have been a cop - intimidation mama!
Oh the things I have to look forward too! Son #1 is 17 months and Son #2 will be born via induction on Monday... I will be desperately clinging to what ounces of sanity I have left!
Boys are so funny! I never would have thought about spit balls on the bathroom ceiling.
May you always be able to look into your children's eyes and find the truth!
I'm laughing hysterically.....BOYS....they are always up to something.
I too have found spitballs on my bathroom ceiling, but they were TP not cotton balls. Boys are funny! I love your blog. Your writing style is so upbeat and fun. You have a beautiful outlook on life :)
As a matter of fact, I did recently discover spitballs on my living room ceiling. I guess boys will be boys! lol!
HI-LARIOUS!
Just when I vow to not comment...you pretty much force me to! So funny! I am also a bath lover squished into a tiny mustard yellow 1972 tub and can picture all of my boys leaving me that surprise! I have a series on my blog I call, "what it's REALLY like.". I think you should make a series of these little "peeks". I love it!
We used to have a pool table. Imagine my amusement when, looking up one day, I saw a little stick figure on the ceiling above it, drawn in blue chalk from the end of a pool cue.
You are sooo funny. That made me laugh out loud!
That is A-mazing!! I love that your first reaction was to giggle.....my kinda parenting!
haha that is just too funny and your last post with the strawberries made me laugh out loud. i'm excited for kids! :)
Actually yes. Spitballs on the ceiling, those dang sticky/stretchy hands you get in the quarter machines at grocery stores, you name it. We've had it on our ceilings. Boys!
