A month ago Today......
This is when the epidural stopped working and the prayers started.

I am so thankful that my little girl is here.

WOW, Ruth!!!! These are AMAZING!!!! I've always told shane that I want amelia to take our pictures, but she doesn't really know me... lol!!!! But I think that you have some of the best pictures that truly captured your emotions. It really made me cry... but that might be all my pregnancy hormones... haha jk!!!! I want to see all, I mean ALL of it. They are soooo good and you are soooo beautiful... Shane and I love you soooo much and I look up to you in many ways... Thanks for sharing!!!

sidenote: love your birthing top...it's the same fabric i used for my kitchen curtains.:)

I'm with Christine, hormones and the beautiful pics have me crying...again. The phrase "This is when the epidural stopped working" is enough in itself to get my tears going :)

The pictures are so beautiful Ruth! I love the one where you are holding Davy up to your chest, and she has one eye peeking open. Just darling! I am so happy she is here, too! Continuing to keep you in my prayers!

The photos are so touching and I'm so glad you posted them. I just love Davy--she is quite amazing. So are you guys. One of my friends posted a comment on my blog about Alta creating opportunities for people around her to be amazing, and I can already tell that Davy is having that impact on you guys (not that you weren't awesome/amazing before).
