a dream came true today

PIGTAILS!!!! I have a little list of things that I am really excited for, in regards to my Lil girl.
1. was sailor dress........check
2. pigtails.........check
I think there is nothing cuter then a girl in pigtails. I actually think Davy got 20% cuter today. It took her all of 10 minutes to pull them out though. But she is messing with the wrong mom. My daughter WILL wear pigtails. Even if I have to redo them every 10 minutes, I will.
I am cursing myself, huh? Davy will start taking them out every minute and it will wear me down until I forgo my pigtail dreams.
Whatever, I still force it on her.

So precious! That was a very exciting day for us; the day I got to put piggy-tails in my daughter's hair. And is she standing in that top photo?! Even if she's kneeling on her own...wow! She jut gets cuter by the day ;)

Oh, happy late anniversary, too!

Oh man, I can't wait for the pigtails! My daughter is just a month younger than Davy and I think she aaaalmost has enough hair to pigtail it up. The only thing that is a little sad about pigtails though is that they suddenly look like a little girl instead of a baby and then I get sad that my baby is growing up too fast.....but, let's be honest I get over that pretty darn quick cuz the pigtails are pretty darn cute and on Davy especially!

she looks SO cute ruthy. I'm also a major sucker for a little girl with a red bow in her hair- so DOUBLE whammy. I used to man-handle wendy until she eventually gave up, so... hang in there and just keep re-doing them every ten minutes. totally worth it.

Holy honk! She is so adorable! I love little "spit tails" lol. My daugther had so little hair that hers were only visible when they glowed in the sun the first time I did it lol. It's never too early to train them to love having their hair all done. Keep at it, eventually she will comply lol.

They're SO cute!! These are some of the most adorable pictures of her I've seen! (I've been following your blog for a couple months now)

My daughter constantly pulled her clips and ponytails out but one day she just stopped! She was still pretty little, too.

Davy's hair is so thick! I love it.

if you get those tiny clear elastics she won't be able to take them out you can only use them once (or at least I never had luck using them more than once)... I had a girl after 2 boys and felt the same as you re the pigtales I had to wrestle my daughter to the ground but I kept it up and it wasn't long before she submitted to pigtails and didn't even try o take them out!!! good luck!

Could she be any cuter? I have never posted, but I want you to know I appreciate your blog and love your dedication and appreciation for your children. I am the mom of one 7 month old without a hair in sight! Hoping for pigtails someday.....

I'm visiting from Karen's blog. I have to say, you have such an inspiring blog, such an inspiring family and life. I guess that's what they say when you go through dark times and live to tell the stories.

And as for the pigtails. Well, I have boys, so I have severe pigtail envy. There is no way my boys are letting me do that to them.

Oh, yes! Pigtails are the best! Serious cuteness going on there! Stopping by from Karen's blog.

I am a big fan of pigtails, myself.

You were right, she's at least 20% cuter! All my daughter wears is pigtails, so we share a love of that hair style. Can't wait to hear about the benefit. Wish we could have been there.

This is my first time here and your little girl is a DOLL!!! Love that chubby face and those little pigtails. My little munchkin tore her pigtails out all the time, too. I started using those little bitty plastic bands. They work GREAT and are hard for little fingers to get a hold of.
