GEM-A-RAMA part1

Scott and the boys went on a trip to GEM A RAMA! Whats Gem a rama you ask? Well I don't know cuz I haven't been there. So Max and Ollie are my guest blogger today!

 This was Day 1. 

Max- We were looking for crystals in the mud. But they only had clear ones. The mud stuck to everything and it hurt my skin. Actually It was more like sticky clay with sharp things in it. My job was to find the crystals and then I would give them to Ollie.

Ollie- My boots got soooo stuck that when someone pulled me out my boots stayed there. I got to clean all the crystals

Max- I saw a kid lose his shoe in the clay. They found it an hour later and it was full of clay.

Dad- I was stressed that they were so dirty, we had moms car so I stripped the kids to their underwear

Ollie- I thought people were going to laugh at me in my underwear, but no one did.

Max- I thought it was the zone of death.

Round up

Every year Max's school has Round up. It's a little fair with booths, animals and food. The boys always have a good time. This year Max (along with all the second graders) had to do square dancing. I wish I would have known how cute it was, cuz I would have invited all of yous to come. He was so stinkin cute!! Every time he passed near me he would try to wave. I was so proud of him. He still loves his Momma. Ollie spent most of his time flirting with the teachers and petting the animals. Harpy was happy as long as we gave him some scraps to eat. It's moments like these remind me- Holy crap, I'm a Mom! I have a family and we are going to school carnivals! Is that weird?

Harper got his first haircut! More like a trim really. Julia came over and did it while I documented it. Thanks jules. As you can see he started out interested.......interested... then he totally lost interest. There for he got just a trim.

Road Trip

Max is obsessed with reading Atlases and maps. He comes home from school and tells me of all the neat places he wants to see. Like the Large white cross in "Bra-seal". Or the pyramids in Egypt. He wants to see the Grand Canyon and collect rocks. The boy literally talks my ear off and I love it. I would love to load the "Fam" up in one of these bad boys and go cross country. There is so much to see in the U.S of A, it seems like it would be so much fun. Am I crazy? Has anyone else done this with kids? Was it a nightmare?

Ok this photo shoot was not easy. Harper will still smile for the camera, but he has a hard time sitting still. Then I realized mid pictures that his hair was a mess, and in need

of a haircut. But the main reason why I am posting a buttload of pictures is Scott carved an 11

in a pumpkin and I could not see it. In Scotts defence, I also could never see the hidden picture inside of those pictures in the mall(remember those).But Jill couldnt tell what it said either. So i also used stickers too.(boring, i know) Anyways will you tell me which ones you like better? I am sorry

11 months

My goodness 11 months already!! I bet your dieing to find out all the new things Harper can do .....................................................

*He is working on his 6th tooth

*When I spoon feed him, he blows on the food first.(he learned that one from dad)

*You all know about his bath issues(poop)Well this kid is the MOST regular child I have had. I am constantly changing #2's!

*He is slowly becoming a Daddy's boy(dang it) When Scott comes home he dives for him.

*He loves to eat blueberries, peas, mango, pancakes and string cheese.

*Loves taking baths. And thanks to swim lessons he always puts his face in the water to blow bubbles.

* He loves to be outside on the porch. When he gets grouchy(5:00pm) We go on the porch swing. So if your ever in the "hood" at 5 stop by!
