wish me luck
Last night Scott left for a "boys" weekend. This will be my first time with all 4 kids by myself. Nervous? YES. Tired? YES. Teensy bit overwhelmed? yes. No majors disaster so far....unless you count the toilet overflowing and Charlie puking everywhere. One day down, two more to go.

You can do it Ruth.......Dave's gone this weekend, too, on his "boys surf trip" weekend. I think we need a girls weekend : )
And soon!!!!
I will say a prayer for you. You can do!
HI! I found your blog through CJane and have fallen in love with your sweet daughter! I also have a child with a very rare chromosome deletion (long arm of chromosome #10) My son is now 11. Your journey is one of grace. Thank you for sharing, you seem like an amazing Mom.
Oh, and to see that your hubby is one of the creators of yo gg is fab. My two boys are obsessed with that show. Oh, and my hubby knows Christian. Small world!
I also found your blog through cjane. My nearly 5 year old daughter was born with a cleft lip and palate. While her condition was isolated only to the cleft, I can totally relate to the pumping and the hospital stays and the surgeries. She just started kindergarten a few weeks ago...it is amazing how far she has come! (I think you're in CA? She has had all her surgeries at CHLA)
Just wanted to wish you all the best. . there are lots of people cheering on you and your sweet baby!
good luck!!!!!
Corrie;)
Hi Ruth,
I too followed the link from CJane.
Your children are beautiful.
I am however, most impressed by your Yo Gabba Gabba connection. I live in Austalia and your show saved my life.
My baby (now 18m) had, and still has, terrible reflux. Yo Gabba Gabba was the only thing that could distract him enough to stop crying for a while and give him some peace.
I am TRULY thankful for that delightful show.
Älthough I do drive my other kids nuts singing,
"try it, you'll like it! whën they won't eat their dinner.
Thank you again, and good on you, your show is Awesome!
Wow! What a HOT man you are married to!
Another cjane referral here, and I don't comment often or on many blogs, but I wanted to say you're amazing--I'd already have declared disaster, haha!
Oh man...all disasters happen in my house when my husband goes away! I pray that your time with your babies is peaceful and disaster free!
I'm sure you'll be just fine. You are a survivor and an inspiration.
