Your opinions please

Yesterday while driving to the doctors i was in an accident(no one was hurt). I was driving west bound on YL blvd and turned left into the 24 hour fitness parking. Right after I pull in I felt a little tap. I said( I was talking HANDS FREE to Nan on the phone) wait did someone just hit me?! I park and quickly see there is no damage. So i walk over to Barry and tell him hey you just hit my tire, so it's cool. Then Barry's steroids kicked in and he said WELL My 1991 Mazda miata(OK I think he might of just said car, But really a 1991 MIATA) is NOT OK. Barry thinks it's MY fault?!! Wait he backed up and hit my back tire ! So am I wrong here? I took pictures for records sake and I don't want Barry all of a sudden suing me for his back injuries.
EXHIBIT A
EXHIBIT B- I circled the 24 hour cuz I had a sneaky suspicion that Barry was working out on his lunch break and was in a hurry to get back to the office. Thus his careless driving.

EXHIBIT C-No damage that I can see. But Dad will you check my alignment just in case.  So....What do you think? Honest opinion?

If he backed into you're fine. Especially if he was backing out of a parking stall. He is supposed to wait for clear. Keep the pictures. I guarantee you he won't do a thing. Trust me. If he could go to the gym after..... he's cool.

It's totally his fault because he was backing and because of where the point of impact was, but if he was trying to blame you, you should call and report it to your insurance company just in case. It won't hurt you in any way to report it, it would just cover your behind. (I used to work for an insurance company, and it's better safe than sorry) But I can ask Glenn his opinion too since he still does work for an insurance company...I'll let you know if he says anything different.

totally report it to your insurance. i bumped a lady once and it didn't do anything to her car but took my bumper off. she said she wasn't going to report it to her insurance. i go on vacation end up getting called by the police and insurance. never again will i trust people in an accident. cover yourself, especially because barry sounds evil. plus i hate that parking lot.

not your fault. Something like that just happened to me, my car was fine((Audi)) his car was spouting his radiator fluid like a fountain (tonka toy). I was rear ended at a red light while talking on the phone. However now I wonder if my daughter (2months old) was hurt? I did wonder why the offenders didn't feel anything for the children that they put in jeopardy... Not even apologetic. He should have his privileges taken away for at least a day. Sorry Ruth and kids

There's actually a rule that says if a man is driving a Miata, then he's always at fault in an accident. Look it up.
