I know I've been talking about Max a lot lately but it's been a big month for him. Last Saturday Max got baptized a member of our church. I'm pretty sure most people are LDS who read this blog but I will explain just in case. Basically we don't baptize until your at least 8 cuz we think it's an age where you can be more accountable for you actions. And we think you come into this world sinless so why baptize a baby? Well the day was a great day full of many emotions. Max had a lot of my family(both sides) there to support him. I shed some tears throughout the day but the actual dunking Max did me the favor of being funny so I was actually giggling. As soon as his body entered the water he started to swim to the center. Then he turned and waved to the crowd of people. After that he looked up to the mirrored ceiling and gave himself a wave. It was pretty cute. Scott said the prayer and dunked him under and Max started swimming again. It was so great cuz it was so him. I asked Max what he thought of his big day........
He said " good". Max the man of many words.

Yay for Max! I am proud of you my young friend, and congratulations Scott, that is quite an honor.
Ruth, I love how you explain the gospel, it would be awesome to see you and Scott as a senior missionary couple when your in your 60's...
ahh that would be awesome.
I couldn't believe the crowd that was there. Max is very loved
I thought it was so cute that max was sharing his candy neckalace with all the kids. What a great choice right after he'd been baptized. Most kids would have selfishly wanted to keep it to themselves.
that picture of max and scott is aDORable. and you all look so cute in that family pic of the 5 of you. congrats!
Congrats to Max! He seems like such a cool, fun kid :)

It was an amazing day.I know I got a little choked up. I was sitting in the back with Harper so I didn't get to see him swim to the center...awesome!
