Max's Special day

Max 's Birthday was so much fun! We have a lot of fun traditions in our little family. A couple of years ago Grammy gave us a"birthday box". What's that you ask? Well it's a box that has everything for a birthday...decorations, cake, candles etc. This year I updated it with some Ruthy crafts. Like the new Birthday banner, a crown and a birthday plate. The boys start the morning by jumping through their bedroom door with streamers all over it.
Of course you get to pick your favorite meal. Which Max LOVES pancakes(no whip cream) and chocolate milk. You also get to eat off of the Birthday plate.

The day was extra special because his best cousins came down from Arizona to celebrate with him! Then you get to wear the Birthday crown all day.(to school if you want)

Max picked lemon cupcakes with purple frosting.(his favorite color)

The girls and I brought them to his class. I forgot my camera, what a chump. Luckily i had my phone! We also brought him lunch and hung out with him on the playground.

Mrs. O Rourke asked Max to introduce his friends, he stared at them and said uhh, I really never know whose who. The girls said even their 3 year old sister can tell them apart. At lunch I asked the girls to show Max how he can tell them apart. Then Max said wait, Xanthe always starts the fights and Xoe always complains. My eyes got big and then Xanthe sadi Thats actually right. Then we all laughed really hard.
It was a fun day! For the night we planned on going to D-land with just Max , Husband and I. Max really wanted the girls to go. He was so sweet. He said "mom disneyland is always there. Xoe and Xanthe arent." So we took them with us. I am glad we did. It was SOOO much fun. The really love each other. Max said it was a perfect day.

We have birthday traditions too. They are great. We do breakfast in bed (your choice), and favorite dinner. We also celebrate birthday week. Every day one member of the family is suppose to write a little note and do an act of service for the birthday person. It's a lot of fun. You are making special memories which they will NEVER let you forget.
