A POX on my house

The Schultz family has been battling major sicknesses. But I am happy to report we are all officially healthy. It started off with a cold, then moved to the stomach flu, which morphed into another cold. The final resting spot? Double ear infection in little brotter(as Ollie now calls him). This was the first time I've dealt with an ear infection, yikes. I would now like to formally apologize to all the mothers of the world who have had to deal with these. I am so sorry. Really. Sorry that i didn't help you in your time of need. It's so good to finally have my son back. He is no longer a crying mess. These pictures were pre-ear infections, so he was not crying  just lethargic. You know the kind of sick you enjoy cuz they are all cuddly. Hows your house? Have you been cursed with any sickness?

I don't want to say... for fear of jinxing our good luck... I hate, hate, hate children's sicknesses. I really believe that any mom that has to deal with sick kids should be checked into a mental hospital. Cuz it will drive you insane! Especially when it moves from one person to the next! And at least at a mental hospital we'd get fed and taken care of, rather than always being the one taking care of everyone else.

Ohhh I am sooo sorry that everone was so sick and went through all that! Yuck!!!! Both Gavin and Blake had major ear infections all the time...chronic. Blake got tubes at10 months it was so hard but made a big difference. Glad you are all happy and healthy again! Thanks for the ideas!! I totally for got about our trip to the old folks home in the old days! I have a horrible memory....partly voluntary I think! My kids did the LOVE song for my parents 50th anniversary. So for sure we'll do that one! Thanks again.

Abi has the worst sniffles right now, I feel bad for her nose. I think she got it from my nephew James, or from the RIDICULOUSLY cold weather outside!!!

Utah is too cold... bleh!

Does Harper like to lay on cold hard floors? I saw him doing that at our house. It's very funny.

i love how cuddly they get when they are sick. those are really cute pictures. i am so sorry that you have had to deal with that! we have never had ear infections and i hope we never get them. we are finally clear at our house as well. we had the month long cold, then everyone got the stomach thing that seemed to bounce around for almost 2 weeks. everyone threw up except for steven. he willed himself not to(he refuses to throw up) and passed out on the bathroom floor instead. we were recently exposed to chicken pox by a little girl who had the vaccine so even though my kids had the vaccine i guess they can still get that. i really hope they don't.

I couldn't come, sorry.
Take metro line 9 !
Get off at Trocadero!
Get an ice-cream and walk over the Seine river towards the Eiffel Tower! (use the bridge!!)
I'll meet you on the second level with Heather and our baby Gwendolyn and we'll have a party!

I have to tell you a quick little story. It was so cute.
As I was sitting in Beth's "parlor" I over heard the following conversation in the toy closet.

Hannah: I saw you on Yo Gabba Gabba
Ollie: you watch that show!!!
Hannah: yea
Ollie: my dad made that show!

I thought it was funny because millions of kids watch that show, but Ollie was so stoked that Hannah watched it.
