Yes, I was jealous.
He spent the week recording a song with "the Biz" and the flaming lips.
The song was recorded for a Volcom- Yo gabba collaboration. Very exciting stuff.
In his words, it was epic, SOOO much fun. Actually those are the words I wanted to hear because that means my time alone was worth it, right? No sense in both of us being miserable.
I am very very happy to have him back, especially because he let me sleep in this morning.
What a luxury sleeping in is, I totally took that for granted.

I don't know how single mothers do it either.. I really don't. My week has been all about savouring every last drop of school holidays, as we have one week left.
We get 6 weeks off for summer, and it has gone fast.

i'm such a wimp, i get stressed out on the days that paul has to work late, i can't imagine what a whole week without him would be like - and i only have one! good job hanging in there.

So far this week we have swallowed a dime... and dad is home this week so what does that say about our parenting skills lol... You can just imagine what happens when I'm left alone for a week! Glad your suffering was worth it! YAY for sleeping in - it is the biggest luxury a mom can have sometimes.

My husband was gone for almost six months while I was pregnant with our fourth (delivered without him), so I can completely understand how hard it is. Although those pictures are pretty awesome--"Yeah baby yoou, you got what I neeeed. You say he's just a friend, yeah you say he's just a friend...oh baby yoooou..." :)
Um, WOW. That is a pretty great reason to be home alone with the kiddos. Exciting for Scott! Need a catchup with you Brea peeps. :)
