The haircut

I have always been proud of the fact that my boys have never cut their own hair. I kinda just thought that me being a hairstylist had something to do with it. Like from the get go they just knew that MOMMY cuts their hair, not them.
A couple of Sundays ago, we were at a family dinner at my sister's house and Harper walked into the room and announced,"Mom, I didn't cut my hair."

Hmmmm. I'm liking this "not" telling on yourself bit, Harper. I kinda hope you keep it going.

How come this is the first time I saw this video??? Sooooo funny! I love how he said it was just his bug.

I will try to keep the scizzors out of his reach in the future.

Knowing your kids hair, it will grow back in no time.

My friend had her grandkids over a couple days ago, and the 6 year old came up to her and was like "Grandma, I can tell you that I cut my sister's hair because I know you will never put me in time out". She basically gave her poor little 4 year old sister one millimeter long bangs. and hid the hair under the couch cushion.

OH RUTH!! My daughter got the hair cutting out of the way at age 2 ... twice! Finally took her to a beautician to get it styled, and she has left it alone since. I love the reason why he cut it... kids thought process can be so different sometimes!

It's like a right of passage for some kids and scissors. It doesn't look like Harper will be trying that again anytime soon!
