              Max went to Skateboard camp. He loved it 200%. If your son is 6 or older,

Ollism 7

Did you feel the earthquake today? I really don't remember having one this BIG with children. Oh sure there have been a few at night, but nothing that needed explaining. I was in the garage getting laundry. Max, Ollie, Xoe and Xanthe were outside. And my precious baby was in the house in his exasaucer. I felt the jolt and ran for him while yelling DON'T MOVE to the others. No damage done,  just a couple of things off shelves. Then Ollie came running in..........

Ollie- Mom wheres E.T?!!!

Me- What?(E.T what is he talking about?)

Ollie- Where did E.T land?

now I get it.The extra terrestial

Me- Oh no honey that was an earthquake, not a ship landing

Ollie says nothing, but stares at me like I'm the weird one.

Newman part 2

While in the lovely town of Newman, we took a hour and a half trip to the even lovelier town of Monterey. My great sisters loaded up all there bikes for us to do a bike ride on the shoreline. It was so beautiful. We rode to lovers cove. Well everyone but Max and Cathy. Right when we were almost to are destination Max drops to the ground and lays there. He was DONE! The life had been sucked right out of him. He could peddle no more. We tried to tell him how we were SOOOO close. But he wouldn't budge from his new bed on the ground. Of course my sister Cathy was nice enough to stay with him while we ventured on. She even gave him $5 to buy saltwater taffy. We also went to a Neato park called Dennis the Menace park. My boys loved it. I loved it too. It had some oldskool playground equipment that you don't see around anymore. So I preserved the moment in pictures. Enjoy!

The day has come!

We actually had no clue that this was going to happen but...... Yo Gabba Gabba toys are now at TARGET! A lady from church told us that she bought toys at Target yesterday. UHHHHH WHAT?!!! You mean Kid Robot? No Target. Or at least the Target off of Imperial and Idaho. So We all went down to see for oueselves. And sure enough, they were there!! It was so cool to see them. We wanted to wait to see someone pick one up to buy and then applaud. Anyways we are super excited, so please go to your nearest Target and tell us if it is there to! Oh and feel free to buy!

Ollism 6

Tonight Ollie walked in picking his nose.......

Me- What are ya doing digging for gold?

Ollie- No I'm just getting my Boogies out and putting them somewhere when your not looking.

(he is now rubbing fingers together to magically make his boogies disappear)

Ollie- And sometimes when your not looking I put them in my mouth.

Scott- that's gross

Ollie- No! Daddy it tastes like.................(he was thinking)... milk.

BIG mistake

Word to the wise, never grocery shop hungry. Especially if you didn't make a list first. I have needed to shop for food for like 2 weeks now. Since I drank my last coke 0 last night I knew today was the day. What does a hungry, dieting, caffeine addicted single mom(Scott's been working 24-7) buy at the store? I am really embarrass to even say cuz I really like for my family to eat healthy and not too over processed. But you won't judge me right? I spent $200 and I don't think I bought one thing that could make a balanced meal. You ready for this?..........

Look who's growing up

I'm actually talking about myself this time. Two things you should know about me are this

1. I'm the youngest of 8 kids. So that means I am a total baby.

2. I HATE driving 

Basically this means I never do road trips by myself. Besides my Dad always worried about us driving alone so it scared me. (I did say I was the baby of the family)Not to mention I have 3 boys. Well last Thursday I woke up, called my sister Terri and said I'm coming up. I don't know what got into me. Boredom?

So I think I figured out the key to a successful road trip for the Schultz family minus Scott ....

I'm telling you with the book it almost makes me like the drive. It really keeps your mind off the fact that your tailbone hurts(I think I have an extra vertebra cuz my tailbone always hurts when I have to sit for too long)

My sisters Terri and Cathy live in a small town in northern California called Newman. It's the kind of town where they ran out of creativity for street names so they just used a letter like R Street. It always smells of cow poops. But I think it's kinda charming and it's an hour and a half away from everything. Like San franisco, Santa Cruz, Monterey, Yosemite and Target. WE had a fantastic time. I will be posting more on the trip this week. I just thought you should all know what a big girl I am!

Melting Pot

Last week We called our BFFs to tell them we had an "announcement" we had to make. We told them we wanted to tell them this BIG news over dinner. I have to say the next 24 hours was SO much fun for me. Jill couldn't stand it... WHAT IS IT?!! Steve called Scott, ....I'm intrigued. Jon called to say.... this better be good it's affecting my work. The thing was the news was really not that big. Well I guess to us it was. They all said their guesses. Kristyns was my favorite....... I think there is no news you just wanted us to get babysitters to go out.Then we made up some story about how we were moving to Pasadena. They almost bought it until Scott lamely said Pasadena is a really nice place. Uhhhh.... OK. The news was that we are finally out of debt!!!!! To make Yo GG Scott had to quit his job, so we had acquired quite a bit of debt. And the Berretts were some of investors that took a HUGE risk on us. So we wanted to take our friends out to dinner to say thanks for supporting us. Of course they still tried to pay.

I'm kinda of scared to do this but here we go

Ollism 5

Let me preface this Ollism by telling you that on my fridge is a paper and a pen to start writing down Ollisms so i don't forget. Anyways I made the boys hot dogs for lunch, and Ollie asked for mustard on his......
Me- Ollie you don't like mustard, it's too hot
Ollie- I LIKE MUSTARD!
Me- OK you better eat every last bite.
So I sit down to eat And Ollie takes his first bite, makes a sour face , Gags and whispers....... Ollie- Mmmmmmm I love it.
Max and I laugh and Max goes to the fridge and starts writing what just occurred. Ollie ate every last bite................ around the mustard. I really should have took a picture.

Come take the plunge

Who's that HOT Mom making out with her baby?!! It's me. I am totally famous now, thanks to the Register. The plunge had it's opening day(a couple of weeks ago)and the boys and I went. We go there all the time every summer. A buck + A LOT of kids + Urine in the pool= Good times! We went there today with some lady friends of mine. Fun was had by all. 

Waaaah

As most of you know I'm a total crybaby. I loved having the excuse of "I'm pregnant". Can I use "I'm Nursing".  I realize how much of a crybaby I am while watching Americas got Talent( I swear there is nothing on TV tonight) This 9 year old girl made it on and I started crying. Then I thought of all the other things that make me cry................

- first day of school(thats where the picture is from)

-when a cop pulls me over(nerves)

- Extreme home make over. Every Damn time

-If you cry I will join you.

- speaking in church. Once again I think it might be nerves

- Hospitals

-Disneyland parades, fireworks and when it snows

-Temple weddings

-The episode of Greys anatomy when Denny died(I cried like a baby)

-When my kids give me homemade mothers day gifts

-When I give a certain little dog away to my nephew(I will blog later about this one)

-When Ollie asks about the certain little dog

-certain commercials

This and so much more will make me cry. If you see me trying to hide my tears please pretend like nothing is happening. It saves me from any further embarrassment. And besides I am a nursing mom who is sleep deprived.

It was fun while it lasted

I got to hang with my nieces for a couple of days last week. It was sooooo much fun having girls in the house. They really are different from boys! Of course I couldn't resist taking them shopping. C'mon boy clothes are so boring. We also made cookies. Which was a bigger mess then I anticipated, thanks to Ollie. I was sad to see them go. I told them I would keep them forever if they wanted, but no one wanted to take me up on it. Well the offer still stands girls.

That's right folks, Harper is 8 Months! 

Now that he is the ripe old age of 8(months) 

he is doing all sorts of cool tricks........

-playing pat a cake

-and SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO big!

-he is sporting a tooth

-he is still doing a weird belly crawl. I blame the dog. Harper hasn't been on the floor much.

-He too has a love for all electronics. Phones, remotes, the keyboard(he is trying to reach for it now!)

- has successfully pooped on mom and dad in a 24 hour period

I can say without a doubt that he is a mommas boy.(yes!)

Ollism 3 and 4

Ollie has been having a problem with the S-word. No not that S-word...... Stupid . I'll hear him mutter under his breath....... your so stupid mom! Of course I've been telling him how we don't call people stupid , especially mom. Well today he asked if he could play Wii....................

Me- Ollie you've already played your Wii for the day.

Ollie- (looking me right in the eye with a sly smile) Mom your sooooooooooooooo stup......endous. Your stupendous mom.

Me -Wow, good one

Where did my 4 year old pick up the word stupendous? 

Ollie was having difficulty dressing himself today. There was some sassy talk and I have to admit he brought me down to his level.

Me- Get dressed Ollie!

Ollie- Noooo, your being a brat mom.

Me- YOUR being a brat.

Ollie- Uhhhh.... only girls can be brats mom.

Me- Well what are you then?

Ollie- (this was said very matter of fact) A King. Girls are brats and boys are Kings. (duh)

So since I'm King I don't have to get dressed.

                          Seriously? I'm totally screwed.
